Hi, I’m Sarah
I come from a long line of wounded mothers and I did not realize the power these wounds would have on my own mental health journey to motherhood. However, with holistic healing, a strong sense of community, and a powerhouse team of mental health healers, I was able to evolve into a stronger version of myself and a more engaged and present mother. I now have the vision of helping other mamas move through their own unique journeys and find the light (and beauty) on the other side! Let me help you shift your journey through parenthood to one that is emotionally aligned and fulfilling.
More about Sarah.
My clinical framework is deeply rooted in attachment theory, emphasizing the intricate and vital parent-child relationship. It's striking how easily society minimizes the journey of conceiving, birthing, and nurturing a child, assuming that a healthy baby equates to a perfectly aligned mother, regardless of everyday realities. Until we choose to see and honor our mothers truly, we will fail to truly honor our children, too.
Because of this, I have honed my specialty in helping women and parents navigate through whatever shade of motherhood your journey brings you and helping you find the light and beauty in the mindful and nourishing moments, one at a time.
I have a passion for working with men, dads, and partners, too! I would love the opportunity to help you heal your version of the story and find your new sense of purpose and connection with yourself and with your partner in this transition.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience in sexual healing therapies, I merge my professional expertise with my journey through motherhood, offering empathetic support as you navigate this profound transformation. Drawing from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and schema therapy, I aim to help you find acceptance and validation for your experiences, fostering a sense of safety as you navigate the diverse facets of parenthood.
Through individual, group, and couples therapy, I work with all clients to heal and grow within the avenues of motherhood, parenthood, attachment trauma, and sexual and emotional intimacy deficits.
